This is a knock off of our corn chowder, it’s more or less the same thing, but with peas, so it’s our pea soup recipe. Ever wonder how chefs get that emerald green pea soup color, this is it – basically fresh ingredients, lightly cooked and then blended in the Cuisinart. Fresh peas are always the best, and they are pretty easy to find these days at super markets, frozen works well too, look for the baby peas, those are the tastiest.
Cup and half of Peas
One Medium Sized Vidalia onion diced
One Tablespoon minced garlic
Two cups of chicken stock
Half Pint of Heavy Cream
