Oh fun. One of my favorite environmental websites, Grist, that I absolutely love reading, looks to be doing more with video. With all of the terrible news coming out of Washington and politicians mouths these days and the recent appointments of Scott Pruitt and Rex Tillerson I fall into the category of those who are deeply alarmed that our country is going to be making every effort to cozy up to environmental demons. I do happen to believe that the planet is warming, the climate is changing and we, humans are responsible for it, but on a more obvious level, pollution sucks. Oil spills suck. Water faucets that light on fire suck. Fossil fuels cause pollution, and a lot of it.
If you are not familiar with Grist, well, first of all you should go visit their site and spend some time reading it, they’re really great at giving quick and concise news and information on the environment. I happen to love them because they also have a column on healthy living and eating, which is great for me.
Now, with a recent announcement they are going to be spending more effort on doing video. Yes, sad but true in the modern ear we spend way too much time watching video rather than reading, but regardless, I’m guilty of that myself.
Very much look forward to their projects this year.
